Deconstruction Video

For my final, I chose to let one of my passions be the subject of my video. Ever since I was a child, I have always loved dogs, despite never having one of my own. Dogs are just so happy and fun and loving and awesome, and it has always made me very sad to see dogs get abused or go unwanted. Since I've never had my own dog (yet), I find it sad to see dogs go unappreciated and unwanted at shelters, or worse, put down because no one adopted them. Rap/Hip-Hop: Travis Scott I chose Travis Scott because he is all about incorporating technology into his music. Both his music and his concerts/performances are famous for the technology he uses. They simply take his great music to the next level. Also, in many of his concerts, he brings out a giant bird that 'flies' around the stage and he stands on it as he raps. Truly breathtaking. Without technology, Travis Scott would still be talented, he jus

And as a performance art piece, I wanted my project to serve as a social experiment. Living on campus, this was very convenient to produce, as I can simply walk around anywhere on campus and find people to use as an appropriate audience for this experiment. I gathered my old Heely's from deep in my storage, this also happened to be my first time wearing them since high school. I had a friend of mine film as I put my Heely's on and rode around one of the busiest spots on campus. My goal was achieved, as I stood out from everybody else in the area, gaining attention and people's thoughts and impressions/interpretations. The meaning behind my piece is to promote being comfortable to stand out from the crowd and not to care if people are judging you, because as long as you are having fun, that is all tha
